Domestic dispute results in stabbing of a man in Colorado Springs.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado Springs Police officers were called to a home early Tuesday morning on a domestic dispute between a man and a woman, which resulted in the man allegedly stabbed himself in the abdomen.

It happened around 2:00 in the morning, in the 2400 block of Lexington Village Lane, near Astrozon Boulevard and Chelton Avenue. When police arrived on-scene, they found the man involved in the altercation, Aaron Grayson, with several stab wounds to his abdomen and chest.

During the initial investigation, they determined Grayson was fighting with a woman when he allegedly tried to strangle her repeatedly. According to police Grayson then left the house with a kitchen knife and reportedly stabbed himself several times.

Grayson was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds and was later taken into custody. This is a developing story. We will have more details on our website at krdo.com as they are made available to us.
