PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- District 70 in Pueblo County is providing relief for families with free meals for students who need them through the end of 2020.

The US Department of Agriculture extended waivers that allow schools to keep feeding students with fewer restrictions than are in place under the National School Lunch and Breakfast programs, according to D70.

Students will be able to pick up grab-n-go meal packages with breakfast and lunch items. They can be picked up at the following locations Monday-Thursday between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.:

  • Avondale Elementary
  • Vineland Middle
  • Pleasant View Middle
  • Desert Sage Elementary
  • Liberty Point International
  • Beulah School
  • Craver Middle School

Students at Villa Bella and Swallows Charter School can get free meal service through their schools, D70 said.
