Dunkin’ employee arrested after spit found in police officer’s coffee
CHICAGO, Ill. (KRDO) -- A Dunkin' employee was arrested Friday after an Chicago-based State Trooper discovered mucus in his coffee.
Last Thursday, the trooper bought a large black coffee and removed the lid to let it cool down when he discovered "a large, thick piece of mucus which was later confirmed to be saliva," floating in his coffee, police said.
A spokesperson from Dunkin' said the incident was immediately investigated and Vincent J. Sessler, 25, was terminated from his job. According to the Illinois State Patrol, Sessler was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, reckless conduct, and battery to a peace officer.
