Gov. Polis orders expansion of COVID-19 testing in Colorado to cut wait times
DENVER (KRDO) -- Colorado Gov. Jared Polis is giving an update on the status of COVID-19 in the state Thursday.
Polis said that the state is expanding its lab capacity for testing and bringing in private lab partners that are in-state to help improve the time it takes to get test results. The governor said the move comes after his office has heard "horror stories" of people waiting up to 12 days to get results for a COVID-19 test.
