Motorcycle crash closes Marksheffel overnight

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A motorcycle rider is fighting for his life after a serious crash on Marksheffel just south of Bradley Road. Colorado Springs Police report it happened just before 8 p.m. Thursday night.

The man was airlifted to a local hospital, and police report he has life-threatening injuries.

The Colorado Springs Police Department's Major Crash Team is investigating. This morning, Marksheffel Road is back open between Bradley Road and Fountaine Boulevard.
