Vail Resorts gives pass holders credit for 2020/21 ski season

EpicPass.com

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Due to the abrupt ending of the 2019/20 ski and snowboard season, Epic Pass holders will receive credit towards a pass for the 2020/21 ski season.

Ski resorts across the state shut down March 14, and Vail Resorts later announced they'd be closed for the remainder of the season. At that point, weeks -- if not months -- remained in the ski season.

According to the Epic Pass website, how much credit you receive for the upcoming year will depend on how many times you hit the slopes during the 2019/20 season.

The break down goes as follows based on how many days you were able to ski or ride in 2019/20:

  • 0 Days - You will receive 80% credit
  • 1 Day - You will receive 68% credit
  • 2 Days - You will receive 56% credit
  • 3 Days - You will receive 44% credit
  • 4 Days - You will receive 32% credit
  • 5+ Days - You will receive 20% credit

The website also states that pass holders will receive a personalized email with their credit information on May 13. The credit will then be available through Monday, September 7, 2020.
