Money Matters: Stimulus payment tracker app going offline

The IRS' "Get My Payment" app is temporarily going offline.

The app, which was made to tell people when their stimulus payment will arrive, will be offline Friday and Saturday 8 p.m. - 11 p.m. MT.

According to the IRS website, the planned outages are for maintenance.

Many users have reported problems with the app. A number of people have received messages saying "payment status not available."
