Lingering showers continue tonight in Pikes Peak region

Evening showers will continue through the evening for parts of the Pikes Peak region. Both rain and snow are likely over Teller County with minimal accumulations on grassy surfaces.

TONIGHT: Any snow accumulation will be contained to Teller County and will amount to 1-2" or less, with higher totals over Pikes Peak. Clouds should linger and shower chances wind down through midnight.

TOMORROW: Partly sunny skies and temps in the 60's. A couple of rogue showers for parts of the pikes peak region cannot be ruled out;however, most areas expected to stay dry. A few isolated storms likely for the far eastern plains with no severe weather expected.

EXTENDED: Rain and snow showers return to the area again on Thursday and Friday. Highs the rest of this week stay seasonal and will be in the upper 50s to low 60s.
