Suspicious death of young woman under investigation in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The discovery of a young woman's body Monday afternoon has prompted a police investigation.

The body was found at 4:25 p.m. in an alley in the 1600 block of Spruce Street near Pine Street, police say.

The woman was in her early 20s, says Sergeant Ortega with the Pueblo Police Department.

There are no suspects in custody at this time, but Ortega tells KRDO that the department is currently looking at some investigative leads.
