NEW YORK (AP) - A subscription to a movie theater can help you avoid breaking the bank, especially in cities where movies cost $15 and up.

Although MoviePass failed in its bid to let you catch first-run movies just about anywhere for a low monthly price, many theater chains are now offering plans of their own.

There's still time if you're looking to catch up on the Oscar nominees for the Feb. 9 ceremony.
