Widow says wedding rings were stolen during move to Colorado Springs

Stolen wedding rings

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A widow in Colorado Springs is trying to track down the wedding rings belonging to her and her late husband after they went missing during her move back to the Pikes Peak region.

"All of my good jewelry was stolen but these are the only ones I’m heartbroken over," said Bonnie, the victim.

Moving is often hard, but Bonnie says her move from Glendale, Arizona, took a difficult turn when she realized while she was unpacking that thousands of dollars worth of jewelry was missing.

We reached out to USA Moving and Storage in Arizona, the company Bonnie used to move. They say they are aware of the accusations and are still awaiting a claim but have a claim department to work out these matters. They will review the paperwork and they will decide what the next move will be.

She says that while she knows most of it is replaceable, some items are not, including the wedding rings.

While she's filed a report with police in Arizona, it's been several weeks since she believes the items were stolen.
