Pueblo police investigating fatal stabbing at apartment
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- One man is dead after a stabbing Sunday evening inside an apartment in Pueblo.
The man was identified as 31-year-old Buck Chavez of Pueblo.
The Pueblo Police Department says officers were called to the Pueblo Village Apartments on Alma Ave. for a call about a stabbing at around 5:30 p.m.
Officers found the victim on the living room floor of an apartment and he was bleeding heavily. He was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries. Police say it's the first homicide in the city this year.
The department says the case is still under investigation. No description of a suspect has been given.
