Frontier cancels seasonal flights out of the Colorado Springs Airport
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Frontier Airlines has confirmed that four seasonal flights out of the Colorado Springs Airport will not be returning in 2020.
The flights include service to:
- Washington D.C. (IAD)
- Minneapolis (MSP)
- Atlanta (ATL)
- San Antonio (SAT)
The Colorado Springs Airport sent a statement to KRDO on Wednesday saying, "Clearly we are disappointed with this decision and the discontinuation of these four routes. We value our partnership with Frontier and continue to do everything we can to support them with marketing and low costs."
According to the COS Airport, Frontier Airlines had indicated that other strategic priorities have taken precedence, but say there could be an opportunity for Frontier to expand routes in Colorado Springs come the 2021 summer season.
