Road Closures: Southern Colorado experiences snow-packed commute
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Drivers experienced snow-packed roads and slick conditions Tuesday morning.
The City of Colorado Springs and the City of Fountain were placed on accident alert status.

Tweets by CSTMCJust before 8 a.m., the City of Pueblo was also placed on accident alert status. The Pueblo Police Department was reporting multiple slide-offs and accidents on the roadways.

I-70 was closed out east between Airpark Rd. (south of the Denver International Airport) to Burlington (Kansas border) due to adverse weather conditions. There is no estimated time of reopening.
Just before 8 a.m., Highway 24 closed between Calhan and Limon due to adverse weather conditions. The highway reopened at 9:47 a.m.

There were 463 canceled flights at the Denver International Airport and 11 delays Tuesday. DIA reporting that the airport received 7 inches of snow as of 5:30 a.m. Tuesday. Check your flight status and give yourself extra time traveling on Pena Blvd.
