One man fatally shot in southeast Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs police are investigating a shooting at the Summit Creek apartments in the 1900 block of S. Chelton, west of the Colorado Springs Airport.

Police were called to the scene just before 7:30 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a family disturbance.

Police confirmed that an adult male was shot and died from his injuries.

CSPD says that the person of interest is an adult male. They are investigating the incident as a homicide.
