‘Supernatural’ star Jared Padalecki arrested, faces 2 counts of assault

"Supernatural" star and Austin resident Jared Padalecki was arrested early Sunday morning at a bar he owns on two counts of assault.

According to the affidavit, he allegedly slapped the assistant manager and punched the general manager in the face, report our news partners at KUSA.

At around 2 a.m. on Oct. 27, officers from the Austin Police Department responded to the scene at a bar called Stereotype located on Rio Grande Street.

Officers arrived after the alleged fight where they found Padalecki laughing and smiling. They say that Padalecki got into an argument with people inside the bar before it got physical, when he allegedly hit the assistant and general managers.

He was reportedly intoxicated and refused to speak with the officers. He then allegedly touched a couple of officers which is when police handcuffed him and put him a patrol car.

According to online records of the Travis County Jail, Padalecki is no longer in custody as of Oct. 28.
