Crews called to 2-alarm fire at Colorado Springs apartment complex

The Colorado Springs Fire Department has been called to a 2-alarm fire at the Ridgeview Place Apartments on Knoll Lane northeast of Palmer Park.

Fire officials say that 10 residents have been displaced. No human injuries have been reported but two cats died in the blaze.

The fire broke out just before 5 p.m. at the complex at 3475 Knoll Lane.

An update from CSFD says that the fire had destroyed an eight-plex apartment building and all eight units have been affected.
