Global Supertanker joins fight against fires in the Amazon
The Global Supertanker is flew into Viru Viru International Airport in Bolivia to join the fight against the unprecedented number forest fires in the Amazon rain forest.
The video below shows the Supertanker dumping on a blaze in Bolivia. The footage is courtesy of local Bolivian news station Radio Televisión Omega Channel 4.
The aircraft is based out of Colorado Springs. It was deployed to the area on Friday.
