Tonight: Staying dry across Central / SE Colorado this evening with wind gusts to 40mph in Park, Fremont, and Chaffee Counties prompting critical fire weather as the Red Flag Warnings are in effect for those locations till 8pm tonight. Colorado Springs staying mostly clear overnight with a low temperature of 57 degrees and light winds.
Monday: Mostly sunny skies as temperatures will cool off slightly, into the mid-80’s in El Paso County and low 90’s for HWY 50. Turning partly cloudy during the afternoon with the chance for a few isolated showers but the vast majority of SE Colorado will remain dry.
Extended: Temperatures remaining slightly below average through Wednesday with isolated afternoon showers possible. But the severity of any storms through mid-week will remain low. Friday will be the next best chance to see a few severe thunderstorms across I-25.
