Pueblo police arrest 13-year-old connected to ‘possible drive-by shooting’ call
Pueblo officers arrested a 13-year-old boy carrying a .357 magnum revolver in connection to a possible drive-by shooting Friday night in the 900 block of E. Routt.
At approximately 11:25 p.m. Friday night Pueblo police were dispatched to E. Routt for a possible drive-by. Officer Golden caught a male about a block away. According to police, the male is a reported runaway 13-year-old boy.
The boy did not attempt to use the firearm and was taken into custody without further incident.
The incident was reported by a party who say they heard knocking on the window of their residence. They saw an individual who they say they have had past issues with, and he was knocking on their window with the loaded firearm. The 13-year-old boy was with this individual.
The residents then called in the incident. The juvenile is now in custody at the PMJC and will likely be booked into the Pueblo Youth Center.
Police could not locate the first male, who is also believed to be a juvenile, and are seeking his arrest.
