Mountain lion attacks young boy in Bailey
Colorado Parks and Wildlife is investigating a report of a mountain lion attack on a young boy in Bailey.
The victim is en route to the hospital as of about 9 p.m. Wednesday. The extent of his injuries are not yet known and his age has been released.
Wildlife officers are searching the scene and a dog team has been called in to help search for the mountain lion, said CPW in a tweet at 10 p.m.
Bailey residents are being asked to please keep their pets indoors for the duration of the search.
