Driver caught going 72 mph in Pueblo school zone

Pueblo police say they caught a driver going 72 mph in a school zone Tuesday.

According to Metro News Source, the driver was traveling nearly 40 miles an hour over the speed limit near Beulah Heights Elementary.

Tuesday was the first day of school for Pueblo School District 60 and the police department said they gave out ten tickets for speeding in school zones.

The Pueblo Police Department posted this reminder on their Twitter page:
