Strong to severe storms possible east of I-25 – 8/13/19

TODAY: Our weather will be beautiful through lunchtime, and then between 3-5pm storms start to move in. Most of those develop over the eastern plains and will then stretch back into eastern El Paso County. Some will be strong to severe today (especially those over the far plains). They will likely contain hail, strong winds and the threat for a tornado or two. Highs today will be seasonable in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy to mostly clear with lows in the 50s and 60s. Mountains will cool to the 40s tonight. Any storms in the area will end by 9pm and will move east.

EXTENDED: A few more strong storms are possible tomorrow with continued highs in the 80s and 90s. Drying skies move in following that for Saturday and Sunday.
