Peaceful protest against gun violence planned in Colorado Springs

A peaceful protest is planned to protest gun violence Saturday in Colorado Springs on the corner of E. Saint Vrain and North Tejon streets.

The protest is scheduled to run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Schedulers emphasize that it is intended to be peaceful.

“There will be no toleration of violence, they will not hear us if we don’t stay calm and collected. It is important to keep the peace while showing them that our voices WILL BE HEARD,” their literature reads.
