Wild weather brings rain, hail and tornado warnings to El Paso County Thursday afternoon

Thursday, storms kept the KRDO crew busy. Viewers also captured amazing scenes throughout the afternoon.

Ominous skies made way for severe weather all across Southeast Colorado. There was heavy rain and hail, flash flooding and even tornado warnings in El Paso County, including Black Forrest and Falcon Communities.

Some onlookers took pictures of the sky, others turned around when they saw the storm coming. After the storms swept through, there were wet roads and windshields.

Despite the heavy rain and hail, KRDO did not receive many reports of heavy damage. Some temporary street flooding was reported. Still, Friday storms are in the forecast.
