Suspect arrested after standoff in Security-Widefield
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office says one person is in custody after a standoff Monday morning near an elementary school in Security-Widefield.

CSPD was trying to contact a suspect related to a vehicle theft case, but he ended up barricading himself inside a home. Sheriff’s deputies were called to assist, and after about three hours, the suspect was taken into custody at about 7:50 a.m.
Police identified the suspect as Bjoern Pacot, 20.
As for the stolen vehicle, that is unconfirmed. But, the police had a motorcycle towed away from the scene. We will continue to keep you updated.
