Paid to scare: Colorado Springs haunted house holding auditions

With less than 90 days until Halloween, a haunted house in Colorado Springs wants you to get into the spirit.

The Hellscream Haunted House is hosting auditions at the Haunted Mines, so practice your creepiness and you just might get paid to scare people.

You have to be 18 years old, and there are a wide variety of positions available if you don’t feel like putting on the costumes or gory makeup.

Auditions are taking place from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Haunted Mines, which is at 3910 Palmer Park Boulevard.
