Strong storms possible for Palmer Divide and Northeast El Paso Co. – 8/1/19

TODAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy weather is likely through lunchtime before our clouds thicken up and we increase the storm chances. Strong storms are possible during the late afternoon and early evening for the Palmer Divide and northeast El Paso County. Hail, gusty winds and pockets of heavy rain are possible. Most of these develop after 2pm and stick around past sunset. Highs today will be a bit cooler and will warm to the 80s and 90s.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies with lows cooling to the 50s and 60s. Showers and storms will clear out by 9pm.

EXTENDED: The rest of the week brings daily storm chances and cooler temps in the 80s and 90s through the weekend.
