Two men shot at park in Fountain
Two men were shot Thursday evening at a public park in Fountain while it was still daylight.
According to Fountain PD, officers were called to Metcalfe Park on Ohio Avenue just after 7:00 pm.
Witnesses at the park told officers two men were shooting at each other and then left the park.
An hour later, both showed up at a hospital with gunshot wounds.
As of 9:00 Thursday evening, their conditions were unknown.
It’s also unclear what criminal charges both could face when released from the hospital.
A spokesperson didn’t know how many other people were at the park at the time, but no one else was injured in the exchange of gunfire.
