The search for Deeno the Dinosaur continues
He’s big, he’s green, and he’s missing! Deeno the Dinosaur, a valuable sculpture, has been taken from a retail center here in Colorado Springs.
The sculpture was one of five that Brian Pesch Property Owner and Manager had installed in their effort to continue to improve the center for the overall good of the community.
Pesch said, “They were all chained up there, and somebody pulling a prank or whatever they were doing stole Deeno. So, he was chained to a light post, and they were able to get him free.”
And they aren’t taking Deeno’s disappearance lightly, a website has been set up as a tip line and a $500 reward has been offered in his return.
“Do the social media campaign, posted it on Facebook, we put together a website finddeeno.com and so you know just trying to really rally the community to help us find him and bring him back. But, on the other hand having some fun with it too,” said Pesch.
Some things to know about Deeno the Brontosaurus, he’s about 157 million years old, he’s green with purple spots weighs several tons when fully matured, and he was last seen Saturday, July 13 at the Market at Spring Creek on S Circle Dr. and Monterey Rd.
Pesch said, “No questions asked, we just want Deeno brought back.”
