Man arrested in Pueblo hit-and-run crash

The man accused of a hit-and-run crash in Pueblo has been identified.

Investigators say Anthony Vasco, 22, struck a pedestrian with his car at the intersection of E. 19th St. and Norwood Ave., just before 9 p.m. Wednesday. Robert Lee Arellano, 67, sustained several serious injuries and was transported to a hospital where he remains in critical condition.

We’re told Vasco left the scene after the incident, but was located a short time later. He was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a serious bodily injury accident, and vehicular assault.
