Not as stormy today and still hot! – 7/17/19

TODAY: A mix of clouds will be seen around Southern Colorado, with highs getting to the 90s and 100s today. Our local mountain cities will warm to the 80s. A stray shower or storm is possible along I-25 and in the mountains, but our best chance of more widely scattered storms will be after 2PM over the Plains.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy to mostly clear and mild. Lows will be in the 50s and 60s tonight. One or two places out east will feel some low 70s tonight.

EXTENDED: The rest of the week looks really hot and dry. In fact, Pueblo will likely be near record highs tomorrow and Friday as highs soar to the triple digits. The weekend brings more rain and storms, so relief from the heat is in the forecast Sunday and Monday. Highs then will fall back to the 80s and 70s.
