Woman seriously injured following stabbing in Colorado Springs
Update: On Thursday afternoon, police took the suspect into custody. The suspect has been identified as 32-year-old Antonio Ryans.
The victim remains in critical but stable condition.

Police are searching for a suspect after a woman was stabbed and seriously injured Thursday morning.
Officers were called to the 3000 block of E. Platte Ave. for reports of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers found a woman with serious stab wounds and transported her to the hospital. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Detectives with the Domestic Violence/Adult Sexual Assault Unit is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
