A few storms for your Friday afternoon – 7/12/19
TODAY: Mostly sunny skies are in the forecast for the first half of the day before clouds move in following noon. A shower or two is possible over Pikes Peak by lunchtime, before more widely scattered storms roll in for the second half of the day. Places far east of I-25 should stay dry today. We also won’t be as humid, so our temperatures will be in the 80s and 90s with a few 100-degree temps over the Arkansas River Valley.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy to mostly clear with lows cooling to the 50s and 60s again.
EXTENDED: Increased rain chances still look likely over the weekend, with highs barely cooling from the 80s and 90s. Less rain and slightly cooler highs move in for Tuesday of next week.
