Colorado Springs July 4th discounts for veterans and active military

What better way to celebrate Independence Day than to honor our local Colorado Springs veterans and active duty military?

We’ve compiled a list of special July 4th freebies and discounts offered by Colorado Springs businesses for military service members.

7-Eleven — Veterans get a free Big Gulp or coffee if they sign up for a Veteran’s Advantage account.

Outback — Any military member with a federal I.D. will receive 20% off of their meal.

Walgreens — Through Sunday, July 7 veterans, active duty members and their families get 20% off regular price items with a free store loyalty card and valid military ID or proof of service.

The Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center — The Dinosaur Resource Center is offering active duty and retired military personnel half their general admission price of $11.50 on Independence Day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Rock Ledge Ranch Family Fourth — On July 4, visitors of the Rock Ledge Ranch will be able to experience a revolutionary war camp reenactment, hear General William Jackson Palmer read the Declaration of Independence, and play carnival games. Tickets for military, seniors, and kids 6-17 are $5. Other adults are $8 and kids 5 and under are free. The event begins at 10 a.m.
