Fort Carson soldier dies in non-combat incident in Afghanistan

The Pentagon has identified a Fort Carson-based soldier who died in Afghanistan.

Sgt. 1st Class Elliott Robbins, 31, died in Helmand Province Sunday from a non-combat related incident. This incident is under investigation.

Robbins was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group, and was supporting Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. He was originally from Ogden, Utah.
