CSPD: Mother found in hot car with kids after making deadly threats
A woman is arrested after police found her and her two young children in a car with the windows up and heat turned on.
Police responded to Palmer Park Sunday afternoon after receiving information that 29-year-old Jessica Price had made credible threats to kill herself and two young kids.
Police first checked Price’s home, but no one was home. A message was then sent out throughout the city for all units to be on the lookout for Price’s car.
Shortly after the alert, an officer found Price along with her kids inside the car at Palmer Park.
The heat was turned on inside the car and the windows were rolled up.
Price was arrested and the children were taken into protective custody.
