Strong storms possible for Eastern plains – 6/26/19

TODAY: Mostly sunny weather is in the forecast for the first half of the day, with increasing chances for a few spotty showers or a storm after 1 or 2 pm. Highs will be climbing to the 80s and 90s. Strong to severe storms are likely over the far Eastern Plains between 3 and 6 pm this afternoon and evening.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy with lows cooling to the 40s and 50s.

EXTENDED: The rest of the week looks hot and mainly dry. Highs will be well into the 90s on Friday, with 100’s over the Plains. The weekend looks slightly cooler with increased chances for showers and storms both Saturday and Sunday.
