06/24/19 Forecast Discussion

Today: Mostly sunny skies for this morning and warming up very quickly, into the low 70’s by noon. Increased cloud coverage by early afternoon, although rain chances are quite slim. It’s possible to see an isolated rain shower in El Paso County but that vast majority of SE Colorado will remain dry today.

Tonight: Partly cloudy skies with no rain chances and light winds. Low temperature’s tonight slightly warmer than this morning, down to about 48 in Colorado Springs.

Tuesday: Another day with plentiful morning sunshine and warm temperatures, up to about 82 for the Springs and into the mid-90’s for HWY50. Afternoon isolated showers possible, but the coverage of rain showers will be minimal and not severe.

Extended: This warming trend will last through the work week, approaching 90 in Colorado Springs for Thursday. Isolated afternoon showers will be possible, but few and far between. Overall fantastic week ahead.
