Fire shuts down part of I-25 south of Walsenburg, Northbound lanes reopen

Colorado State Patrol are fighting a wildfire on I-25 near mile post 51 south of Walsenburg in Huerfano County.

Expect heavy traffic. Commuters report they’ve been delayed an hour.

Northbound lanes of traffic are back open, use caution and watch for emergency crews.

CSP is investing a truck fire on I25 near mile post 51 in Huerfano County. Traffic is routed on the service road on the southbound side. Expect delays and heavy traffic in that area. S34
