1 suspect caught after vehicle break-ins at Red Rock Canyon Open Space

UPDATE: Colorado Springs police say one of the two suspects wanted in connection to vehicle break-ins at Red Rock Canyon Open Space was arrested.

The department first sent out notice about the break-ins at the end of April. Police responded to two incidents of cars being broken into, and credit/debit cards were taken.

Surveillance video captured the two suspects using the stolen credit cards at stores. The suspects were a white or Hispanic man, and a heavyset white or Hispanic woman.

Friday, CSPD said the male suspect was arrested on felony charges for the break-in and making fraudulent purchases on stolen credit cards. His name hasn’t been released yet.
