Seniors displaced by Regency fire get a helping hand
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A press conference for the senior citizens displaced by the Regency Tower fire was hosted today by Pikes Peak United Way in partnership with Silver Key Senior Services and City Council President Richard Skorman.
Over 60 senior citizens were impacted by the Regency Tower fire in May, and 20 have reported they need long-term support.
Pikes Peak United Way aims to raise $30,000 for the victims to help them secure and move into new apartments.
