Man reels in 16-pound trout from Colorado lake

A Colorado Parks and Wildlife biologist pulled in some large trout from Twin Lakes near Leadville Wednesday.

According to a tweet posted by Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Michael Atwood pulled in a couple of trophy trout that measured in at 35″ and weighed 16 lbs.

Atwood is an aquatic biologist with Colorado Parks and Wildlife and was conducting a biannual gillnet survey.

The trout were released alive and healthy.
