KRDO takes top honor in RTDNA Edward R. Murrow Awards

KRDO is the winner of the Edward R. Murrow Award for Overall Excellence in Small Market Television.

The announcement of the National Murrow winners was made Tuesday, and we picked up the top honor in nearly 150 television markets.

In April, we were honored with seven Regional Murrow Awards, including awards for continuing coverage, hard news, news series, breaking news, best newscast, excellence in social media, and overall excellence.

The award for Large Market Television will also reside in Colorado; ABC affiliate KMGH in Denver won Overall Excellence in that category.
