Rock climber rescued after fall in Colorado Springs

A rock climber had to be rescued Saturday after falling in the North Cheyenne Caon Park.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department was called out to rescue the climber with the El Paso County Search and Rescue on stand-by.

According to CSFD the climber suffered only a lower extremity injury and was taken to the hospital.

At this time we do not know the climber’s name or current condition, but he is expected to be okay.
