Meet the Rocky Mountain Vibes

Nothing says welcome to professional baseball like putting on a Vibes uniform and getting your picture taken with Toasty, “When you saw Toasty for the first time what was your reaction? When you are a little kid and you see a little bear you just want to hug him or even bite it,” says Vibes first baseman Ernesto Martinez. “What’s it like putting on this uni? Oh it was great. I feel like it sealed the deal for me,” says Vibes pitcher Paxton Schultz. What year did you graduate high school? “2015,” says Brady Schanuel.”2018, Yeah I’m fresh out of high school,” says Vibes outfielder Joe Gary Junior.
They are fresh-faced and wide-eyed, “For a lot these guys it’s gonna be different.” Do you have any advice? Start learning, start learning how to cook and clean,” says Schanuel.

“What do you think of Colorado Springs? Most peaceful place in the world. I love this place I would like to move here someday. Maybe you can play for the Rockies? No No I like the Brewers,” says Martinez. “I was huffing and puffing the other day stretching. Yeah dude it was kind of funny,” says Vibes catcher. Nick Kahle.

Music you listen to? “I like it all. I like hip hop. I like kind of like dance stuff like that. Pop every once in a while. You mean like Taylor Swift? I mean yeah. A couple of her songs I like. Favorite Taylor Swift song? Probably teardrops on my guitar the classic one,” says Schanuel.

Shows you binge watch? “Friends,” says Schanuel. I had somebody get me in the Bachelorette for some reason. What are you thoughts on the Bachelorette? I’m not going to lie there’s some cringy moments with some of the guys. Cuz you know especially shows like that a lot of guys are okay if this dude does one thing wrong I’m just going to go snitch and tell her, so I can make myself feel better,” says Gray Last question how do you pronounce your last name? Schanuel?

It is Schanuel you’re pretty much right closer than a lot of people. Like Manuel but you have to emphasize that L. Yep that’s it. But you’re not going to have any L’s this year? No no just W’s.
