Video shows bear approach porch in Palmer Lake
Colorado Parks and Wildlife is issuing a warning to lock first-floor windows and doors after a family in Palmer Lake came nearly face-to-face with a bear.
The bear was caught on video last week and it approached the family’s porch one night after it took a bag of food from the home.
At one point, the bear walks right up to the porch door and tries to enter the house, even with a person standing just feet away.
