Park County investigating death at Guffey Gorge
One person died this weekend at Guffey Gorge in Park County, and officials are investigating.
The Park County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a man died Saturday at the popular recreational spot, also known as Paradise Cove. ( MAP )
The victim’s identity hasn’t been released yet. The Park County Coroner’s Office will release that information when his next-of-kin is notified.
It’s not clear if foul play is suspected, but the sheriff’s office didn’t say a suspect was wanted or in custody.
No other details have been released at this time.
