Body of 61-year-old man found in Colorado Springs apartment complex parking lot

Officers found the body of a 61-year-old man in the parking lot of the Firtree Apartment Complex Wednesday night.

Police responded to 3835 Radiant Drive, near Palmer Park, just before 8:00 p.m. to discover the deceased man in the parking lot. The initial investigation revealed that the man had been involved in a disturbance just prior to his death.

The investigation is ongoing, but authorities say there is no perceived threat to the community.
