Wind Alert Day – 5/17/19

TODAY: Mostly sunny weather is in the forecast for much of today with increasing winds through the daytime. Gusts will be the strongest during the mid to late afternoon and will likely be between 40-50 mph at their max. Highs won’t be as warm as yesterday but will still be comfortable. Look for temps in the 60s and 70s with 80s over the plains. A stray mountain shower is possible this evening.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. A few showers are possible through the Pikes Peak Region. Rain is most likely with a rain snow mix over the mountains.

EXTENDED: The long range forecast looks pretty wet through the first part of next week. Scattered rain showers will be likely through tomorrow with a brief drying trend on Sunday. More widepsread rain and a few storms are in through Tuesday with cool highs in the 50s and 60s. We start to dry out Wednesday and Thursday.
